For the first time in probably 2 months NOAA was giving us the green light, calling for calm seas all weekend. I called up Jooh and he was on board, and little diggy said he was onboard... Leave the house for the ramp and call up diggy to make sure he's on the way and he's still in bed in Orlando

. So now there's a crew of 2. Launch at the Blum at 6:30 with a full compliment of ballyhoo. We headed southeast checking the usual haunts for bait, nothing on 10A, alot of Northern Ganetts (birds, probably the wrong spelling), ran to 12A which was covered up in runners, small spanish mackeral and small sea bass. After stocking the well with runners we headed southeast looking for rays. We saw a couple of rays and turtles but didn't see any cobia under them. So we started the famous Ft. Pierce blind drag. We drug hoo east until we hit a nice weed and ripline in about 250' of water, there was a decent number of boats on the line, we managed 2 bonita and 5 dolphin on the troll. The dolphin weren't big but they didn't school, we had 5 separate knockdowns, which helped break the day up. We trolled in to a local wreck and dropped the runners down, promptly breaking off something (probably an AJ) and catching one small AJ. Overall a great day, except for diggys oversleeping and some brutal gaff work. Below is diggys chair and fishing pics. Holdouts are key in fish pics.
